Exploring Roots is a local non-profit dedicated to creating healing relationships between people and nature for the wellbeing of both.
We serve youth from underserved urban areas, including kids transitioning out of homelessness, under the care of the foster system and in our multi-year #ReWildKC Explorers Program. Studies show being outside can increase self-efficacy, confidence and provide an improved sense of well-being. Research suggests these outcomes enhance mental health.
As the designer for this group, I create all branding, apparel, marketing/sponsorship materials, and social media.
